Everett Aviation started business operating a single AS350 in Kenya in 1996. In less than 20 years the Company has become established as the largest helicopter service provider in East Africa, holding AOC’s in Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique. Everett’s unrivalled regional knowledge, supported by substantial local content and proven, flexible, supply chains ensure they remain at the forefront of aviation in the region.
Since the beginning, Everett Aviation has led the market by investing in equipment, training and Safety systems. Everett invested in twin-engine helicopters to enhance flight safety, modern facilities, development of a Safety Management System (“SMS”), ISO Certification for its management processes, helicopter on-board monitoring systems such as HUMS & UMS, Forward Looking Infra-Red (FLIR) for security work and real-time internet based GPS tracking systems.
More recently Everett invested in equipment to protect helicopters from missile and ballistic threats when operating humanitarian missions in troubled regions and fleet upgrades to cater for the developing energy sector in East Africa.
This investment has meant that Everett Aviation is now able to offer an unrivalled range of safe and solution oriented aviation services to clients from the energy sector and other government, commercial & VIP organisations with mission critical or specialist aviation needs.
Everett Aviation’s mission is to continue expanding and focusing investments on the improvement of safety, quality and measurable value to our clients, whilst developing innovative and efficient services to meet the needs of an ever-changing market. Only by doing so will we sustain the momentum in our evolution, win new clients and maintain our position as the leading East African helicopter operator.
