Simon Everett
CEO & Managing Director

Set up the company in 1996. Simon began a flying career in UK. He has extensive flying experience in the USA, Caribbean, UK and East Africa, qualified in fixed wing up to Boeing 707. Besides his fixed wing qualifications, he holds an ATP helicopter rating and has flown helicopters for many years.

Chief Financial Officer

Adrian is the Chief Financial Officer for Everett Aviation and has responsibilities across all commercial aspects of the business. After graduating as an engineer, Adrian joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (UK) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant and specialised in business management. He transferred to East Africa in 1996 and was a partner in PWC for several years, managing its business support team in East and West Africa. Adrian joined Everett Aviation in 2007. He holds a Private Pilot License (H).

Tony Macharia

General Manager


Tony worked with Bytech Engineering for many years. He joined Everett Aviation in 2009. He is in charge of IT and oversees the general operations of the company on different levels. Tony’s education background is in Management and IT but helicopter aviation is certainly a passion he enjoys.

Capt. Jay Chandler

Head of Flight Operations


Jay’s flying started in the British Royal Air Force where he gained significant experience in Search & Rescue and as a pilot instructor, latterly being detached to overseas air forces as a helicopter training specialist. After leaving the Air Force, Jay flew HEMS and Police Support missions before returning to full time instructing in 2004 in the Middle East. In 2006, Jay returned to the UK to manage offshore operations before returning to Everett as Chief Pilot and Training Manager.

Ian Robinson

Head of Engineering


Ian joined Everett in October 2016 and brings to the Company 37 years of aviation maintenance experience, predominately in the rotary sector. Ian started his engineering career in the UK Royal Air Force before moving into the commercial sector and gaining licenses on a wide range of helicopter types including the S76 family, AS365, Agusta 109, MD900, BK117 series and EC135.

Job Kivihya

Engineering Manager


Job started his aviation career in 1997 as an aircraft engineer with a helicopter AMO in Nairobi. Job joined Everett Aviation in 2006 and gained significant experience on twin-engine helicopters working with what was for several years a Eurocopter Service Centre. Job has travelled extensively around the East Africa region supporting Everett’s fleet and also spent 2 ½ years in Iraq as part of the Everett team providing engineering services to the UN. Job was appointed as Engineering Manager of Everett Aviation in 2013.



James Odongo
Quality & Safety Manager

James has been with Everett Aviation since 2009 in his capacity as Quality Manager. His role revolves around management of the Everett Aviation Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Before joining Everett Aviation, he worked at Bureau Veritas where he received the highest levels of training and certification and gained lots of exposure and experience in all aspects of Quality. James graduated with a Masters in Business Administration degree on 7th October 2011 and we congratulate him on his achievement.
