Everett Aviation has fifteen years experience in performing medical rescues in Kenya and throughout the region. The flexibility of the helicopter lends itself perfectly to this undertaking. AS355 and AS350 can carry one stretcher and 2 attendants
The BK117 is one of the world’s leading Emergency Medical Services helicopters. This is because it can easily be changed from a passenger configuration to Emergency Medical Services configuration by installing a specialized medical interior. This interior has a medical floor system that locks equipment in place, medical storage cabinet for medical supplies, Medical oxygen module and suction system.
It can be configured to accommodate one stretcher patient and 4 attendants or 2 stretchers with two attendants. The BK117 cabin is spacious allowing medical personnel enough room to attend to the patient(s). The clamshell back doors allow for easy loading and off loading of stretchers with rotors turning, improving safety and efficiency when time is of the essence.
All our aircraft are fitted with satellite tracking which enables us to keep all parties fully informed of the patient’s progress and expected arrival time of the helicopter. This system allows the crew to send real time messages and make voice calls to keep the medical team on the ground updated on any changes to the patient’s condition.
